Nashrah Siddiqui

Software Engineering graduate with a love for coding, creativity, and everything tech.

About Me

Hi, I'm Nashrah, a Software Engineer based in Dallas, Texas and a proud UT Dallas alum (December 2025)!

I'm passionate about building systems that solve real problems. Over the past few years I've had the opportunity to build enterprise CI/CD pipelines at Texas Instruments that cut deployment time from days to under an hour, an AI-powered clinical documentation system that helps clinicians spend less time on paperwork, and a security monitoring platform on AWS that helped teams track and manage user access across servers and services.

I work across the full stack using technologies like Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and AWS, and I genuinely enjoy the process of taking something from an idea to a working, production-ready system.

I'm currently looking for software engineering roles where I can keep growing, keep building, and make a real impact.

Projects

Displayed here are projects I've undertaken both independently and during my UTDesign project.

Spotify Replica App

A full-stack application built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) with Tailwind CSS for styling. This project includes a user-facing frontend, a backend server, and an admin panel for managing the application.

UTDesign Project

Designed and created a Service Provider(SP) to allow all projects associated with EPICS to interact with UTD's Identity Provider (IdP) and allow Single Sign-On(SSO)

Weather App - 2022

This is an efficient weather application that displays the current weather for a specified city. The application uses the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch weather data. It was created using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

To-Do List App - 2022

This is a simple To-Do List application that allows users to add, mark as complete, and delete tasks. The application is built using ReactJS and styled with Tailwind CSS.

Relevant Experience

  • Built a Python-based backend service with RESTful APIs that gave the security team direct access to query and analyze user activity data to identify and flag inactive user access to servers and services.

  • Built a cloud-based log ingestion and processing pipeline on AWS (S3, EC2) that pulled in large volumes of user activity logs and processed them before surfacing results through the API layer.

Software Engineering Intern - DALWAX LLC
June 2024 - Aug 2024
  • Worked with a cross-functional team to integrate the SSO system with legacy applications, ensuring seamless user transitions.

  • Designed and created a Service Provider (SP) to enable applications within UTDesign to interact with UTD’s Identity Provider (IdP) and support Single Sign-On (SSO).

  • Designed and implemented automated Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, enabling secure deployments across development, staging, and production environments, accelerating deployment cycles from days to under one hour.

  • Developed backend services and automation scripts (Python, shell) to support identity lifecycle workflows, automating deployment processes through directory navigation and configuration in Active Directory (AD) environments. Supported access provisioning, monitoring, and reporting, improving IAM system visibility and gaining exposure to SailPoint Identity Governance workflows.

Software Engineering Intern - Texas Instruments
May 2025 - Aug 2025
Backend Software Engineer - UTDesign
Jan 2023 - May 2023

Keep up with my future projects!

As I move forward with my career, I will continue to update this website. In the meantime, I'll be updating my Github. Feel free to check it out!
